Outstanding Alumni

While launching a campaign on the theme of "staying true to our founding mission", our school actively promotes alumni construction and strengthens interaction with alumni. On December 5,ourdelegationof nine,including LIU Wei, Party Committee Secretary, CAI Rongshou,Dean andPresident of the Alumni Association, WAN Daru,HonoraryPresident of the Alumni Association, HE Jingyun, Deputy Party Committee Secretary andSecretary-general of the Alumni Association, WANG Xiao,ExecutivePresident of the Alumni Association and teachers' representatives, went to Xinhui, Jiangmen to visit alumni and establish an Alumni Associationthere.

Our delegation visited Jiangmen XinChengHao Hardware Products Factory bulit by li Yitian of the 95th class, Jiangmen Zhongying Financial Guarantee Co., Ltd. built by LIANG Yihan of the 95th class, and Kangxin Paper Products Co., Ltd. built by LI Yutian of the 95th class, and discussed the long-term mechanism of Alumni Association and our school’s talent training. LIU Wei, CAI Rongshou and others feltproud of themv andhighly praised the alumni for applying what they have learned andadoptingthe road of rejuvenating the country by industry.Theybelieved that alumni were the "medal" of alma mater and alma mater was alsoastrong support of alumni.Theyhoped that alumnicouldstrengthen connection with us, make suggestions for our school’s talent training, and share experience with their younger schoolmates. The alumni warmly welcomed ourdelegation,andthanked for alma mater’s concern and support. They also eagerly looked forward to strengthening interaction with their alma materandmaking suggestions for the school to broaden the student’s platform, and hoped that alma mater would provide technical support, like think tank, for the development of their enterprises.

After the symposium,our delegationvisited the old school site of the Foreign Language Department in Xinhui in 1993, recalling the memorablepasttime and talking about the friendship between teachers and students.

Thetrip to Jiangmen strengthened the emotional link between alumni and the College, and took a solid and powerful step for the College to do a good job in alumni workin the future.
