About   the speaker:

CHEN   Yongguo, L.D, professor of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Tsinghua   University. He has been specialized in English Teaching, Foreign Literatures   Teaching and Studies, and Translation Studies for 38 years. He was a visiting   scholar at University of Florida, Duke University. In addition, he has   collaborated with scholars engaging in literature and philosophy in Harvard   University, University of Cambridge and The University of New South Wales. He   has published 6 monographs, more than 60 academic articles in both English   and Chinese, and more than 40 books of translation (some collaborated with   other scholars) from English into Chinese.
