On January 3, we held the Expert Advisory Panel on NSSFC Application in Linguistics in Teaching Building 1, Room 203-5, and invited Professor WU Wei, Jinan University to offer expert guidance. vice dean of Scientific Research Institute WANG Mingliang, Section Chief ZHONG of Humanities & Social Sciences and the teachers intending to apply for 2020 NSSFC project participated in the meeting.

Our school’s vice dean WU Chunyan acted as the host. She introduced Professor WU, the keynote speaker, and suggested the attending teachers to listen to WU’s suggestion and constantly improve the project proposal so as to make a breakthrough. Professor WU, after reading all the proposals and listening to each teacher’s statement, gave comprehensive suggestions on the contents, formats, topics of their declarations. He has made many valuable suggestions on writing a good research project proposal.

The purpose of this panel is to invite experts to give specific suggestions so as to improve the quality of NSSFC project application and raise the scientific research level of our teachers. The teachers had one-to-one interaction and exchange with the experts, which accumulated important experience for their NSSFC application as well as personal academic research.
