On   the morning of November 19, 2019, our school held a seminar on the 2020 talent   training plan revision at Room 203-5, Teaching Building 1. According to the   latest requirements issued by GDUT, the seminar discussed and revised the   2020 undergraduate talent training program. Deputy dean LIU Yalong, presided   over the meeting, together with the dean CAI Rongshou and other teachers.

At   the beginning, Liu introduced the situation and problems of 2018 talent training   plan of our school, and conveyed the spirit of the school's new talent   training program. Later, Cai pointed out that the new version should meet the   new requirements for talents in the construction and development of the   "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area". Meanwhile, the   revision plan should be based on extensive research and refer to the specific   requirements of the “the National Standard for Teaching Quality of   Undergraduate Majors in Regular Institutions of Higher Education".   Combining the "new liberal arts" and the general enrollment,   teachers participating in the meeting conducted extensive discussions on   specific curriculum settings, training procedures, goals and characteristics.   They offered many suggestions for the revision of the 2020 talent training   program.

Finally,   the dean pointed out that the training plan is the “constitution” of the school   to train talents, and it required everyone to take the initiative to learn   the “the National Standard for Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Majors in   Regular Institutions of Higher Education”, fully considered the large-scale   enrollment situation, earnestly did a good job in the revision of this talent   training plan, and constantly improve the quality of talent training based on   the circumstances of our school.
